1. The Arrival - Bump into him all over the city! - OTA
“This an interesting shade…” A tall, willowy young man commented absentmindedly as Raimon made his escape from the many questions that had been thrown at him moments before he handed over the welcome-bag.
It was as though he’d wandered through the looking glass… Which, to be fair, wasn’t really that strange of an idea given the way his life had progressed of late. Still, this… Didn’t look right. It was far different from Tokyo even with just a vague glance, and it certainly wasn’t mementos… At first the teen thought perhaps he’d slipped into a palace- it had happened to him once before after all, but it didn’t have the right… energy.
There were people walking around, people of substance and life. Not shadows, not a representation of how a palace's ruler saw them… Just people going about their daily business. If it weren’t for the setting, one could easily believe there was nothing strange going on. There was, though, and it was puzzling…
But also beautiful, in a way. The aesthetic of this land was somewhere between a historic drama and a fantasy, like out of a video game he’d could imagine a friend of his playing. But it was intriguing, so much so that Yusuke wasn’t really paying attention to where he walked.
He was too caught up in picking out details and perhaps how he’d approach capturing it in a piece… Not smart, no, he should be paying more attention… Or freaking out… And maybe he would, at some point, but even then? The truth would always be stranger than fiction, and he had already accepted the idea of strange worlds other than his own that were beyond understanding.
2. Network Introduction - Audio - OTA
Good afternoon, everyone.
[ A smooth, mannerly tone is heard across the network. A new one, certainly, and this is confirmed a moment later. ]
My name is Yusuke Kitagawa, and I’ve only just arrived this morning. Forgive me for asking questions that I expect most are tired of hearing by now, but I am still trying to work some things about this place out. I have managed to learn a few things around the city, so I will try to limit my inquiries to the necessities.
I’ve heard that there are some rather unpleasant creatures and entities that reside in this city, and I should think that having a means of defense and assisting in defending others would be smart. Is there a preferred weapons dealer in the city, preferably one that would carry or willing to secure a sword of my preference?
[ He wants to get his hands on a katana rather quickly, if he can. No, the teen hadn’t yet considered what that might cost. He’ll figure that out later… as per usual. ]
I’ve also been informed that there are others here who have experience with other worlds and realities than their own, and I confess I’m rather curious to hear about such things. [ Not because he has experience with such things himself. Nope. Not at all. Not him. He’s not hoping one of these people will be someone he knows, even if he hasn’t spotted familiar names on the contact list… But still, from what he’d heard it was worth asking. Yusuke moved on rather quickly to… justify his question. ] You see, I hope that hearing such things will assist me in understanding and being prepared for what I may see or encounter here… And as an artist, I can’t help but wonder what inspiration I might draw from such stories and experiences.
With that out of the way, thank you for any answers you may be so kind as to provide me. I look forward to becoming acquainted with my fellow arrivals.
3. Feed the Artist - Few days after his arrival, the market - OTA
Yusuke was settling in as well as could be expected in this strange world. Better, perhaps, than some who were plucked out of their own lives and dropped into this one. He was at least somewhat familiar with alternate worlds and realities. Monsters and quests and magic weren’t unknown to him, given his time with the Phantom Thieves of Hearts.
What was probably going less well than other arrivals was he didn’t do particularly well when left to his own devices for too long. Yusuke was reasonably mature for his age, even more so than some of his teammates… But the teen did have some flaws that were a bit detrimental to his own health. The first thing the young man had done upon arriving was get carried away with new projects, inspired by the sights in this world and the unique aesthetic and beauty that could be found here. So desperate to move past his art slump, and eager to catch the beauty and the emotions that could be evoked by various sights and settings, he had quickly drained his funds on supplies.
This meant a lack of money for necessities like food and other comforts, but it hadn’t really mattered too much to him when he considered it after the fact. The orphanage provided three meals a day, so he could get food easily enough… The problem was, one had to remember they were hungry and to be mindful of the time to get said meals.
Yusuke was not known for being particularly good at remembering these things. Oftentimes his teammates had to pitch in to offer him something or ask him to stay to have some curry and coffee at Leblanc’s free of charge…
There was no one here to be pester him to take care of himself, though, and so he’d fallen rather easily into old habits. Put other things off for the sake of creating what he hoped would be a masterpiece. Art takes dedication and sacrifice, Yusuke. You want to succeed, don’t you? You want to create a masterpiece worthy of praise, so keep working.
The voice in his head insisted, a lingering mindset he hadn’t put behind him, as his stomach growled loudly from where he was sitting on a bench as he sketched out a scene before him. The scene was of the market, bustling with life and energy. He frowned every so often, brows knitting lightly and muttering about someone moving before he could finish capturing their pose. “Stop moving, please!” He uttered more audibly as he felt the piece slowly falling apart in front of him, desperate to at least finish outlining the scene he wanted to paint. Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad if he hadn’t been struggling with his own focus.
Some annoyed glances were cast in the teen’s direction for speaking up, and for the odd insistence in his tone. He noticed it after the fact and winced as he heard someone call him weird. The insult stung a bit, and he cast a glare in their direction on instinct. But he was reminded of a moment with the phantom’s leader when someone asked them to not be rude and to be mindful of those around them. Right… He was being rude again… But did no one understand he was trying to capture something beautiful? The energy and simple joys of life, even in the simplest moment of picking up food for meals with your loved one or looking at gifts, supporting passionate craftsman selling their wares.
For Enis
Yusuke blinked, realizing she was trying to explain the concept to him, so he offered a smile from under his mask and shook his head lightly. “Oh, no, I do know the definition of the word quite well, but thank you. I suppose I was only amused by the idea of it.” The particular irony to the idea, he supposed, though it didn’t cross his mind to explain. He was too distracted by the whispers and the woman standing before him who seemed to have answers.
“Clearly more than I was informed of when I arrived earlier…” He murmured thoughtfully, eyes wandering for a moment to the shadows again. “You’re right, of course, teamwork would be ideal when facing an unknown in the dark…” And all of this was terribly unknown compared to the strange places he was already used to. “But I’m not exactly alone, am I?” He said, more to himself than to Enis. He meant Goemon, of course, but she could take him to mean that she was there now as well.
Still, he would be smarter to not wander until he had a weapon of sorts for the occasion that calling upon an ice spell with Goemon would be foolhardy and potentially damaging to a small space. Folding his arms, one resting under his chin as he did his best to ignore the incessant sounds in the night as he opened his mouth to continue asking her about the ‘things that went bump in the night.’
But then the light catching in her eyes distracted him. “Like illuminated jewels… Such a mysterious air. I should like to capture it on canvas.” He commented with distraction, probably without the lead up that one should to suggesting such a thing, but he was blunt and to the point as ever. Thought too much of art and never considered how his words might sound.
For Mitsuru
“No… I expect that answers aren’t about to be spread out on a table for us to pick through like at a buffet, either.” Things were never so easy, and with the way this was all turning out… Even if a buffet would be nice. Both one of information and food, now that he thought about it.
“Most people are complicated in general, I think. Hard to figure out… And never what you think they are based on first impressions.” Or they were, but they were more than their first impressions and should not be lumped into a trait alone. The amount of blunders from making such assumptions was a bit steep on his part, he supposed in hindsight. “Had it been a while since you’d seen him, even before here?” Perhaps that was why it was complicated, now that he thought about it. If it was the case, then all the better that they had the chance to meet here… right? A chance to reconnect, and some comfort in an unfamiliar world and situation where things seemed very uncertain to him after only a few hours here.
What would he ask them if he could talk to them? A great many things, Yusuke supposed, if they weren’t anyone he knew… But if he ended up knowing said person somehow, perhaps the questions would be different. Best to keep those thoughts separate, the teen realized, to avoid… complicating things. Playing oblivious and unknowledgeable. That was more fitting, and he expected most of his team would agree. “I’d want to ask them more about this other reality they’ve been to… To find out if there are any similarities between that one and this?” He placed his hand under his chin, nodding slightly as he continued. “I suppose I’d also want to ask about these creatures tied to human emotions. Sounds rather…” Familiar. “Fanciful, and hard to not ponder over what that means and what they might be like.”
Yusuke hadn’t really considered his question might be a difficult one to answer. Even when she paused and seemed to break off her sentence midway for a few moments, it left him a little puzzled. He opened his mouth to ask what was wrong, when she continued instead and his mouth closed again and he tilted his head thoughtfully. For someone her age, the teen guessed a few years older than him at most, being in charge of the entire Kirijo Group would be an enormous responsibility and weight… The expectations placed upon someone in her position were probably more difficult than he could understand, really… “I see… That is quite the responsibility.” So he offered her a careful nod. “I believe you make a good point, though I hadn’t thought of it. It isn’t as though we’ve brought more with us to this world than our memories, talents and a few meager belongings… Simply people with pasts that hold no bearing here.”

"What should I call you fox boy?" She didn't do nicknames or anything like that and really she didn't understand why he was wearing a mask. His physic and hair color would make his identity fairly easy to discern.
She waved at him to follow her towards a safer place to talk that wasn't the middle of the street. "My name is Enis."

Plus… She wasn’t wrong. There was something amiss out here this night and lingering to discuss the idea would risk inviting further trouble. “Later, then. I thank you for considering it.” He added with a light nod, still sounding rather pleased with the outcome despite his prior annoyance with all the sounds and whispers nagging from the shadows.
What do you mean, Enis? The mask and costume hid his identity splendidly. That was the point of a mask! The teen even seemed to consider his answer carefully, since he was not sure if he wanted to reveal overmuch about himself or his… other self… as yet. “You may call me Fox for now.” Yes, for now. The teen was at least smart enough to realize that if he was going to paint her, she’d have to meet him outside the disguise. But he’d introduce himself once they were away from whatever dangerous thing was lurking around, and he removed the mask. It just seemed more sensible. “But, unpleasant things going bump in the darkness of the night aside, it is a pleasure to meet you, Enis.”
And so the teen trailed after Enis easily enough with a few long strides. He was eager himself to be away from whatever he was hearing, anyway.

Like walking around in the city in the middle of the night without a weapon. She hoped that the skinny boy could cast magic but she knew that not all utilized the full extent of their neurons. It was best to assume the worst and handle the situation from there. At least she was able to find him before the monsters. She hadn't seen them herself but she knew that there was something dangerous roaming the streets at night.
The path wasn't particularly long or difficult though Enis used a lot of side allies to get to where they were going faster. A few times she stopped the poor boy by placing her palm on his chest and indicating that he needed to be quiet. After a short time she'd then continue onward, keeping an ear out for anything that might cross their paths.
After approximately 20 minutes of walking Enis showed fox boy to an empty warehouse. They were close to the wharf and the buildings around them were similarly empty. This location had been one that she'd scouted out after her changes and had slowly been fixing up to use as a safehouse. Inside the large warehouse was a loft area that was connected to the ground floor by a latter. "Up here." With that instruction she began to climb.
The loft wasn't very big but there was a desk, a place to burn wood for heat and a collection of rugs, pillows and blankets that acted as a bed. It was cozy and comfortable. It was also totally enclosed with various sound proofing lining the walls.
Enis took a seat on the floor and began to get a small fire going to keep them warm. It was an interesting design that prevented the fireplace from exhaling smoke into the outside world. "We can talk safely here." It was one of a few places that Enis was setting up around the city.

When he wanted to be, or wasn’t paying attention, Yusuke could honestly be, quite sneaky. Whether he meant to be or not.
But as their path came to an end, he hurried up the ladder behind her without a word, curious about where she was leading him. This wasn’t the apartment buildings he expected her to be leading him towards. If anything, it looked rather… abandoned at first glance. Inside, however, he was startled and pleased to see the setup was rather cozy looking. “It seems appearances truly are deceiving.” He murmured to himself as he looked around the loft before turning to face Enis again.
Oddly enough, the mask was already gone by this point. In fact, his clothes had changed as well. A deep bluish purple, black and grey long-sleeve and a pair of slim fit black pants adorned him in place of the disguise he’d been wearing only moments before. “Your assistance and hospitality is appreciated. I fear my evening stroll to see what the city was like at night might have been more eventful than I had hoped otherwise.” Yusuke moved to take a seat on the floor as well, looking comfortable enough in the setting as he turned his attention to the belated introduction. “And as a proper introduction is in order, my name is Yusuke Kitagawa.”
no subject
Enis dropped into a seat on the floor with her back to the wall. It wasn't comfortable but it was out of the way and cool enough to be comfortable.
"It can be dangerous and right now there is something out there. I haven't seen it myself but it isn't safe for anyone. Even those who can protect themselves." Let alone skinny teenagers. "Enis." She had a last name but she was liking it less and less.
"Fox powers or not. You should try not to die while you're here. It's messy." She wasn't saying she cared but it was a mess. Enis also cared a little bit.
no subject
He took a moment to observe Enis again, this time in better lighting. His original opinion stood, really. She was rather concerned, it seemed, for someone shorter than him. Even if he’d have to admit, he was fairly gangly and harmless looking upon first impressions. “It’s nice to meet you, then, Enis.” He added at her introduction, noting the lack of last name but… Deciding that was permission enough, he supposed, to call her that until she suggested otherwise.
He looked a touch confused, though, when she mentioned fox powers and not dying. Oh! “They’re not fox powers, actually… A fair assumption on your part though, I’m sure.” That was to say, his abilities were mare than simply donning a strange disguise with a fox mask. “But I’ll take your concern seriously…? I had thought about the possible need to get my hands on a weapon after I arrived, but I hadn’t considered I’d need it just walking around the city in the evening.” So he’d bump ‘get a Katana,’ up to the top of his priority list.
Well, after ‘get art supplies’ since he’d already wasted his arrival coin on that.

"Currently, there is a creature wandering around at night killing people with a knife. Even those who are strong have died by this creature's hand." Her lips curled into a smirk that displayed the white of her teeth at the irony. "There have been other situations. They happen a lot. It's best not to get cocky." Even though she was wandering around at night by herself.
"As for weapons." She pushed her short hair back and sighed. "No guns." She had one but she wasn't sharing. "But there is a blacksmith. Any simple weapon can be made there." Enis reached for a piece of paper from her desk and began to doodle a detailed map before handing it over to Yusuke. "It's here." It was very methodical with incredibly straight lines for someone freehanding a map.
"I'll keep answering your questions but I want you to answer mine." Enis didn't like information going in only one direction. "Judging by your clothes I'd say: 20th century. You're used to conflict of some kind but that doesn't tell me much about you. And-" She signed. "I assume you're some kind of artist." None of that was really interesting information to her. "What about your abilities. What can you do? If you need training I can point you to a place for that too."
no subject
Still, it was useful to hear what Enis had to say about the situation in the city. He could use all the knowledge he could get, and at some point he’d have to share it with Mitsuru as well… Especially since he didn’t realize she was a fellow persona user, and simply thought she was someone from the same world as him. Normally, people especially should be warned to avoid danger, after all. Especially if death in this world came with actual consequences.
“Yes… This place seems a bit behind the times for guns, if the overall aesthetic is anything to go by. Disappointing, but I can manage with just a Katana if I can get my hands on one.” If he wanted to keep his distance from something, he could rely on Goemon and some bufu spells. Having a gun would have still been useful, but he would still make do with what he had with a little work… Now the map she drew? He snagged that quickly to get a closer look at. This was very helpful. “Thank you. I should be able to find my way there, then. I believe I wasn’t far from it, funnily enough, when I was wandering after I arrived.” If only he’d happened to go a little further, he might have stumbled upon it already.
Yusuke was a little less comfortable sharing things about himself, but… “I suppose that’s only fair. Information should be exchanged equally, and you’ve been most helpful already.” He responded with a polite nod. “Your guesses are rather spot on, really. I was a high school student in Tokyo, Japan., if that means anything to you. I was attending on a fine arts scholarship before I arrived in this world.” And that seemed like enough to confirm her guesses, and give her an idea of where he was from, if their worlds were the same or similar.
“My abilities are rather complicated to explain, so to be brief, they give me access to some ice spells, physical attacks and talent with wielding a katana that I would not have otherwise.” Obviously, given he was a beanpole of a teenager. “I’ve had them for a few months now, so I’ve gained quite a bit of experience in using them.” And practicing by helping out with some of the ‘creature’ situations around the city might be a good starting point. Perhaps not the new, mysterious one… But others.

"Okay." If this was to be an exchange, then she'd prefer to hold up her end as well. To an extent. It was best to have allies instead of enemies. "I'm from the United States, born in Illinois but probably around the same time period that you're from." She was a bit older than him, by about 15 years, though Enis was cursed to forever appear to be in her early twenties.
"So you're some kind of mage. There are many who can use magic in the city. If you need training some of them might be able to help. My skills have nothing to do with magic so I can't help you." She was thin but lethal and easily mistaken as weak the same way that Yusuke was.
Enis's head tilted back as her arms fell to her sides. "Nothing here is normal. It'd be a long conversation if I tried to brief you on all of it but there are those who have kept notes of dangers and incidents. I'd check the Gullwing office or the Library." Her gaze met his again and her eyes flickered as if emanating their own light. "During the day of course."

Though… He supposed that she didn’t seem surprised by his having some magical abilities. Yusuke wasn’t sure he could truly be called a mage, though, but he wasn’t going to correct her either. “That’s fair enough, I expect. Mine are rather specific as well. I’m not sure if I’d find someone to teach me how to use them differently. Practice to see how they interact with the city and making sure I won’t damage things seem more important, for a start. So I’ll have to conduct some tests once I’m settled.”
You know… So a mabufu didn’t freeze multiple buildings in an attempt to take out a few monsters.
“Yes, I’ve got plans to visit the Historium later this week, after I get a few other things arranged.” He tilted his head slightly, “I hadn’t heard of the Gullwings office, though. I shall add that to the list of places to visit if you think it may be helpful.” At her words, he offered a quick nod. “Of course, during the day. When there’s less chance of running into trouble unprepared… And I doubt they’d want me poking around at this hour.”
And, because he was Yusuke, he got slightly distracted by her eyes again. What colour could he mix, what technique might he employ to convey that odd light there seemed to be when she looked at you? That would truly be an impressive feat to achieve in painting form.

"Either way, if you need a safe place to practice you can use this warehouse. It's empty except for this room and there is enough junk around if you need targets." She wasn't offering to help but giving him a space where he could practice away from prying eyes. "Just try not to tell everyone about my room up here." From the outside, her safe house looked like a broken down overseers tower.
Enis's eyes furrowed when she met Yusuke's gaze. "Is there something on my face?"

Her offer to use the space, though, was met with a grateful tone. “Is that so? I would be quite grateful for that. I’d like to make sure that the ice spells I have access to wouldn’t spread too far in use here. And you have my word that I won’t tell a soul of your living here. Though…” He tilted his head thoughtfully, finding this all rather curious. “Why do you live here? To my understanding, most arrivals are given an apartment if they’re of age.”
“Oh! No, my apologies. I was just considering might best suit your eyes should you ever sit for me to paint.” He responded with a very honest, and thoughtful tone. Still trying to decide that even as he spoke.

"I have an apartment too. It's just easier to have safe places around the city." It was a long story and one that she wasn't eager to get into. Once she sorted it out she might open up but it would take time and persistent work.
Enis smirked. "Back to the painting thing. So what is it that you want to paint exactly?" She didn't really care but if she could gain an ally for doing something so simple, it would be worth it.

So at least Enis didn’t really need to worry about explaining. It just seemed sensible to Yusuke once he thought about it a little more.
Of course, back to the painting thing. When wasn’t Yusuke thinking of painting? Even in mementos, he tended to get caught up in ideas. “I wish to paint a great many things, but to be specific? I find myself inspired to want to paint your portrait if you’d be willing to sit and model for me? You have an intriguing air about you that I believe would be an interesting challenge to capture on canvas.”

Her lips pressed into a thin thoughtful line. "Pick a night, tell me where to meet you, and I am yours for the night." She had never been a model before but Enis assumed that it'd be a rather simple process.
"What would you need from me?"

Of course, Yusuke didn’t give much thought to her, suggesting an evening instead of a day, and it wasn’t like he had an actual schedule to follow here. There were no classes for him to attend, so his time to focus on art had just expanded… Plus, he was used to spending his evenings painting to begin with, up to all hours when inspiration struck him. “Excellent, I’ll be in touch once I have a better idea on a night.”
The question gest a small smile. “Only yourself, of course. Just a willingness to sit or pose for lengths of time will be enough. Everything else will be my responsibility to collect, as I’m just rebuilding my supplies to build on what I arrived with.”

Her thoughts scattered and then refocused on a serious issue that she was running into. Perhaps he would be willing to help her in exchange for her use of her as a model. "I do not know much about modeling or what your art is but if I offer you unlimited access to me as a model..." Her voice trailed off and for the first time she looked nervous. "If you could keep this a secret." If he didn't she'd make him pay but it'd be better if she had someone she could trust.
"I have a condition I need help with. As long as you keep it a secret you can decline and I will still model for you."
no subject
That said, he still didn’t know what her condition was or if he would be any real help with it. “What is this condition? Do you need assistance with securing medication, or…?”
no subject
If this somehow went poorly... she knew that she could kill him but she'd rather avoid violence in a world where death wasn't Permanent. It would be better if he agreed to keep it a secret.
"It is medical." Sort of. "I-" She swallowed and her throat ached at the memory of her last meal. "Shit." Enis leaned forward, cradling her head in her palms. "I must be insane."
She looked up and while her eyes kept their usual eerie glow, there was a new glint of hunger that hadn't been there a second before. "I need blood. Not-" She held up her hands. "A blood bank but from a person. It won't hurt and I only need a little." It pained her to ask but she was running out of options. "Once a week." Enis refused to recognize what she was and she wasn't going to say it now. Yusuke could draw his own conclusions.

So maybe he shouldn’t have even asked, but even if he was more well-spoken than some of his peers? His social skills could be a bit awkward at times.
Still, it was clear that she needed help if she was asking someone she’d only just met. Then again, he also hadn’t seen a hospital where one might be able to even receive blood donations if needed. With a thoughtful hum, he leaned forward and folded his hands. “Once a week… How much would a little be?” Because it would probably be best to learn more about that before committing… Though, promise of an art model aside, it seemed unkind to ignore someone in need in a world that clearly hadn’t taken the needs of those the thoughtlessly dragged here with specific needs for their health.
So Yusuke would probably agree. Between that and the potential for new art inspiration, he wanted to understand what he was getting into a little better.

She scratched at her forearm nervously before lifting her gaze to finally meet Yusuke's stare. "Something like that. I-" Enis bit her lower lip but decided that keeping it a secret was useless. She'd already told him the most volatile fact of her recent transformation. "I don't know." Her voice was soft and after a moment she rose, crossed the small room, and took a seat next to the young artist. It was easier to not look at him this way.
"I was experimented on since I was very young. I stopped aging in my early twenties and I had been fighting back whatever was done to me with a mixture I had formulated using my blood. When I arrived here, I didn't have that option anymore. I tried but I couldn't find similar materials and-" Her voice lowered to a hushed whisper. "I became this. I don't know what I truly am." She had knowledge of many species, even vampires, but no creature like her existed.
She was a monster.
"I would need maybe a cup of blood a week. I don't think more but I don't know. My blood is able to replicate itself to a degree. That should help but I am barely getting by right now. That is why I purpose this deal. You can ask me to do anything. I just-" Enis swallowed hair. "-I want to live."

“That is a terrible thing to have been put through, and to have to manage alone in a strange world such as this without an easy way to get what you need…” How thoughtless, how careless, for a world to bring people here and then not have resources in place for people to seek aid! If her secrecy was anything to go by, she likely was worried about what some might do.
And she sounded so very earnest in the end that the teen shook his head. How could he even think to say no? Deal or not, even if it might be risky, turning away someone who needed help would be unthinkable. There were clearly no other options for her either, if she was asking to begin with. “Then allow me to help you with that.” He responded in an honest tone to her admittance, tilting his head thoughtfully. “A cup of blood a week. I should be able to spare that much.”

He was dead and that was all that mattered.
"I didn't tell you all this for sympathy." She only told him enough out of respect. If he helped her, she'd answer any of his questions. It was a reasonable price to pay for access to his blood.
Enis lowered her head and whispered. "Thank you." She hadn't known what to expect but she was suddenly relieved to take the risk and ask him for his help. She hoped that it was enough. "Would you mind..." She lifted her head and met his gaze. "If I took some now? You can tell me if it's too much." Enis wasn't sure what she was doing but there was not time like the present to learn.

But her request gets a thoughtful tilt of his head, glancing at her with some concern. How long had it been since she’d been able to get blood? he wondered. Maybe it was short notice, and ill advised to offer it that night… But she had probably already saved his life once that evening, if things were so dangerous in the area he’d been wandering in. “If it would help, certainly?”
He wasn’t sure how one exactly went about it, if she had a preferred method, but he rolled up a sleeve carefully. “Will this do?” He asked, showing his arm with a small tilt of his head. “I admit I’m unsure how one goes about it. I don’t have a blade or anything.”
no subject
"Yes." She reached for his arm and gently held it in place though if he tried to move, he'd find that it was impossible. "It's fine."
Enis leaned forward and licked the inside of his elbow. The vain hummed beneath her tongue and the skin numbed before a gentle pinch indicated that she'd begun. He's feel the slight internal tug for a moment and a slight head rush but after a handful of seconds Enis pulled away. Once again her tongue flicked over the skin, closing the wound and leaving no trace of the mark. She took around a cup of blood, only half a pint. It was less than the amount that was taken by doctors but it was all she needed.
Her eyes met Yusuke's and she pressed a hand to his forehead to feel the temperature there. "Are you okay?" She was worried and it showed.
