"No and I see no reason as to why I should." And then Ignis closed his eyes a moment and opened them back up. "You're no coward, I've seen you in battle. And there's nothing wrong in failing. You loved him and you believed in him. And if that's a crime, I do believe uncountable numbers of people are also committing it as well."

He tried a smile. "I love you because of who you are and what you mean to me. And while I will admit to being a bit knocked off kilter because of finding out these things we didn't discuss, that doesn't mean I'm walking away from you now or ever."

Ignis then gently tugged his husband into an embrace, "Just promise me that if anything happens like that again or you feel that low, you'll notify me at once no matter where you are. And I will come running to help you."
