Sam quietly moved among the market stalls trying not to draw too much attention to himself. He was in a bit of a mood today and talking wasn't really something he wanted to do. He just wanted to pick up a few things and maybe come across a book or two then head back to his home and read or just chill. It seemed like life though...might have other plans.

"Tracking, summoning, protecting things like that," Sam says, "I've been studying the history of this place to see how close I can get to recreating the spells I might need. Not all magic and ley lines are the same."

"So, magic uses ley lines. All magic?" At least where Sam was from?

"Some spells need a bit of a boost using ley lines but not all of them," Sam replied, "alot of my spell workings use herbs and other natural things."
