"You know, funny story, when I was first learning things like that would happen all the time. Not just dropping me out of the sky either. Sometimes objects. Limbo wasn't an ideal place to learn mutant powers." It messed with the nature of reality too much, particularly for someone whose powers could cross time and large distances. That wasn't a fact she'd admit to anyone else but him. She liked maintaining an image of being impressive too much to admit she started out with a lot of failures with her portals. That wasn't even touching how many failures she had with magic. That was a story all on it's own.

With Mono though she liked admitting things like that. It made her feel like maybe he'd feel better about himself to know others failed too. Or they made mistakes and they just got back up and kept trying until they understood.

"I was watching on the window," she stood up and brushed herself off ever so slightly. "Probably should have just said hi." Like a normal person. But when had she ever been a normal person? "It's nice to see you practicing though."
