I’ve run into a few people who are from my world, or at least seem to… Seems wrong to upend what they think they know, especially when they have no control over it or way to see it usually. My friends and I call it the Metaverse. There are creatures there we call shadows. They’re strange, really. The way it was explained to me is that they’re born of humans and carry human emotions.
