The question from Ignis gets a small pause, his pencil stilling again as he glanced at the man. “I admit, I have not? Other than discovering a shop that sold art supplies I needed for my time here, I didn’t make it much further than this bench when I was struck by inspiration.” Yusuke responded with a thoughtful tone, eyes darting to the market again. It was a rather large market, and he supposed he could probably stand to get up and actually look around. Perhaps see the wares being sold in more detail. It might improve his piece to have a better look at the items and colours for when he sat down to paint.

So Ignis’s ruse was a clever one. If the teen could be intrigued to get up and look around, he might just make it to the food stalls. Not that he had much coin left, Yusuke had spent it all on supplies without thinking much further than that. He wasn’t always the best with his funds and prioritized other things.

Still, he seemed to be considering the market with a new, thoughtful expression. Slowly setting the pencil down in the tin sitting next to him and lowering the sketchpad. “I’m not sure where to start, if I did look further into it. There’s much to see, after all.”
