It bothered her that she hadn't smelled him coming. It bothered her even more that she hadn't heard him coming. Was she really that damn exhausted? Guess it made sense given how many days she'd been trying to track these things. Then there'd been her unfortunate misstep today that had resulted in the mess she was in now. At least she healed more quickly than a human would.

"Lot of trust you're putting in me having good taste in drinks," she said with a weak smile in greeting. She had shit taste in everything else. She immediately looked away and into her empty glass at his next statement though. "What can I say? I'm a slow learner."
