Steve hadn't slept much the night before, but he knew this had to be done. Yuna's light thankfully helped and he kept a close eye on her and anything that moved anywhere near them. He wasn't too happy leaving Caelan behind either but the lich was going to be the problem and he moved quietly as instructed, not that he planned on doing it any other way though to be honest.
The darkness was eerie and creepy like a Halloween movie but Steve wasn't about to let a fanciful imagination get the better of him as they moved along. He half wanted to ask what the Farplane was but didn't want to take his focus off anything else.
Suddenly she stopped and the ground shook. His first thought was to pick Yuna up but there was nowhere safe to carry her. So he crouched down and started hammering at the boney hands that had sprung up with his shield and fist.
